Not one of my favourite bands, haven't been a big fan since 'Internationalist' but I am a music lover and know when there is something special going on.

'Passenger' will def make it to the doco and 'Pick you up' just took me back to my teens.

...and in true Bigfooty fashion who did I happen to stand next to during the concert, the big Pav. Bout ten meters from stage,to the right. So many people were just staring, pointing and whispering to each other. It must really suck to be a footy player sometimes.

Yeah I think that every Brownlow night when the poor souls have to turn up with some ol' scrag they found out the back in the garage.

Powderfinger are the Aussie KOL type of band.
Started off with good songs, then released albums that sold heaps with OK songs, then became w***ers.
Shouldve given up after writing "The Day You Come" because nothing got better than that for them, nothing beat that song or its social impact.

Exactly, mentioned to my GF(whos a bit of a fan, im only fan of their pre 99 stuff) on Saturday "Thats the best thing they ever did, rest since then has been garbage"

I went to the Ballarat concert on the weekend and thought it was sensational, Jet were awesome also...
The crowd was nuts and consider there had been about 150ml of rain in the few days before and the tent just turned into a mud pit... was still great..


and some dude in a green lycra suit got up on stage at one point and just loved life

If they go all John Farnham and come back for more I would definantly go again without hesitation.
