it has said in the newspaper that powell is to return next week since the second week. do you guyz no when he is really coming back?

I know he played the second half of Springvale's loss against Williamstown and 17 or so touches.

I guess it's a case of when the selection committee feel he deserves a spot in our 22.

i have to say he has drop off a bit on his skill level since arriving at the club

If not this week, next week.
Should probably play a full game for the scorpions this week and if in the best should get the call up. Problem is who they will drop for him.


Can't comment on if his disposal has gone down can't really remember him at melb. I like that he gets the ball as well.

Powelly has never had great disposal but his job is to win the hard footy and get the ball moving forward. He'll throw his weight around and make sure that the opposition know he is around.

As Bozza said he actually came on at half time and still finished with 16 or 17 possessions. I'd give him another game at Springvale before bringing him back as well.

Players like Powell and Thompson are hugely important because they allow teammates like Dal Santo to do what they do best and that is take advantage of their brilliant skills.
