Practice Match

Okay, now back to Melbourne....

How do you think we will fare against our Rd. 1 opponents in a practice match this weekend??

With Yze, Neitz, Bizzell, Ox, Powell, Vardy etc. All ready to come back, we should fare alot better than we have recently, esp. seeing as the Hawks are a little undermanned.

I hope we win! I haven't been able to see that this year, and even tho it's a practice match, I would still like to have that winning feeling!

I think we'll do ok.... if not we can always get a few of Yze's relatives on to the ground! :D

Seriously though, with around eight senior players coming back, the younger guys will miss out. I thin kthe only rookie who will play will be Armstrong. Even though he won't admit it, I reckon there will be a bit of panci in the Demon camp and Daniher will want his best side out there as soon as he can.

I don't think we will win, but winning this game isn't important. The focus should be on getting all the returning players right for the season proper and trying to avoid injuries!

Well, it is probably wishful thinking saying that the Dees will win, but I think we have a better chance than what we think. Add some leaders to the team who can play great footy and things will change dramatically!

I don't think we'll win either.
I think that most of our senior players coming back will get a bit of a run but they will all be well rested to prevent injury from resurfacing. The young guys will get a run too and they will combine a few players and mix and match to see which line ups work and which ones don't, so to know for the season.

I don't think we'll beat Hawthorn tomorrow. It's all about getting ready for round 1, giving young kids a go & experimenting.

What?? I didn't think we'd win, hell I didn't even know the Hawks where missing so many players. And the most important thing WAS that we didn't want injuries, so what should I be ashamed of???:D :p :p

5 against Geelong, when he stuck his hand in the air signalling he did it. I was listening to Triple M at the time, and I think I heard them all laughing in the background. Don't blame them really.

Would this be the game last year where he kicked the winners?? One of the few matches he has one for us :p :D :D Not so sure he's the "White Wiz" as some say.

Yeah, with the Sydney one where he did nothing all day then kicked 4 in about 15 mins. He's no White Wiz. In fact, he really hasn't earnt that right. He hasn't done nearly enough.

When I see him kick some goals and get possies against someone like Essendon, Richmond etc, then he can get some sort of label. Until then, he can stick to kicking three against someone like the Eagles and get no real praise from us.

I'd be happy just to see some consistancy, 3-4 goals every game would be awesome!! Not 5 goals some weeks and nothing others.
