Meet Up Pre Grand Final nerve settlers...

So quite a lot of us who are attending will be heading in alone and I'm dreading the thought of how nervous we will all be.

In a effort to calm the nerves and kill time which will no doubt drag on forever would anybody be keen on catching up for a couple of drinks and a feed to ease the nerves?

So... might have to kill some time watching some flange at the Royal.

I bought a ticket to the Live Site and will go in there at 11am.
Will head off to the G around 1pm so if anybody wants my ticket to go in to spend the day at the Live Site (no charge), they are welcome to it.
I'm more keen to meet up for some Friday night frothies purely to help us sleep.

Something wrong with me because I'm not nervous at all, not even really excited, but have a real quiet confidence.
I've felt like that for about 7-8 weeks aside from some prelim heebie jeebies.
It doesn't even feel like a GF to be honest.

I'll be floating around Richmond all morning. Went to Tipplers on Wellington Parade pre game last Saturday and will probably do again this. Great boutique beers.

Going to Club Function post game.

Then to Tokyo at 7am Sunday. Hope I'm running through the Ginza in the RFC Puma Guernsey Sunday night.

It'll come, I wasn't really sunk in yet until I went to pick up my ticket today then o got a huge knot in my stomach all of a sudden.

I didn't get nervous at all before Geelong game. This just feels similar and I was very calm and quiet in the second half on Saturday once you could see they were gone early in the third.
Since during the Hawthorn game the whole thing has had a really weird feeling of destiny for me that I never ever thought I would feel.
If I wasn't superstitious about betting on Richmond games I'd have backed us for the flag that day.
Same reason I won't back Cotch for Norm Smith but know he's going to win it. He's been the same since that Brisbane game at Etihad and I turned to my mate and said "this campaigner reckons we can win the flag and he's on another planet, look at him!".

I've been to kittens before, is too far to walk back to the flinders st backpackers at 3am... also last time I was there a bloke got his head caved in by a bouncer really bad - blood everywhere - not the kind of place I trust myself to walk out of in one piece after 12 hours on the piss!

Same. I think after last season, etc I have become quite emotionally disengaged. It's a blessing a curse.
