As we all know, this years draft class is suppose to be one of the best to come through in quite a while with several franchise caliber players such as Wiggins, Parker, Embiid and of course Dante!

Last year we predicted the top 10 but this year, seeing as the draft is a lot deeper, why not predict the top 15

Will just use the same scoring system as last year, 10 pts for every correct pick, 3 pts for getting within one spot and 1 pt for being within 2

1. Cavs -
2. Bucks -
3. 76ers -
4. Magic -
5. Jazz -
6. Celtics -
7. Lakers -
8. Kings -
9. Hornets -
10. 76ers -
11. Nuggets -
12. Magic -
13. Timberwolves -
14. Suns -
15. Hawks -

Thats the order, post whenever and edit it up until draft time, enjoy

I think this is a pretty good attempt. You could possibly switch Vonleh and Randle, but hey, you never know...

I don't know enough at this point in time to do 11-15
1. Cavaliers - Jabari Parker (traded)
2. Bucks - Dante Exum
3. 76ers - Andrew Wiggins
4. Magic - Marcus Smart
5. Jazz - Joel Embiid (trade)
6. Celtics - Julius Randle
7. Lakers - Aaron Gordon
8. Kings - Noah Vonleh
9. Hornets - Nik Stauskas
10. 76ers - Jusuf Nurkic
11. Nuggets - Doug McDermott
12. Magic - Rodney Hood
13. Timberwolves - Dario Saric
14. Suns - James Young
15. Hawks - Zach LaVine

If the 76ers don't take Exum, I think there is a good chance they grab LaVine at #10. He looks the next best thing and I think Brett Brown would be able to improve the weaker areas of his game.

thanks it's bloody hard and when you do attempt it you realize it's a bit time consuming and kinda pointless because you know it'll be all over the shop on the day :p

To me he seems like a big risk but a risk worth taking as your second selection. They have time on their side to develop him.

See that Utah pick is a bit of a juncture. Being "Utah" you have question marks on the Smart selection. I mean they have Burke and Burks. But then you select Smart then you have the combo tough sob. But then they are Utah and they don't like gangstas. I think they want Exum really bad.

Reports came out today from Utah that Smart has refused to work out with them. This could mean 2 things:
1: He doesnt want to go to Utah
or 2: The Magic have made him a draft promise already.

I'll put mine up later today, although I'm sure I'll edit it a few times once we're closer to draft day.

Will probably have to adjust him into mine. First impression of his highlights video was positive. Has that Steven Adams feel. And he can play basketball ;)

Yeah, not going to lie, just watched my first clips of him then, he looks okay, then again he is a big white guy so who knows

Hmm now this is interesting as to how Embiid falls with his foot injury

1. Cavs - Wiggins
2. Bucks - Parker
3. 76ers - Embiid
4. Magic - Exum
5. Jazz - Gordon
6. Celtics - Smart
7. Lakers - Randle

Ugh, tough calls..... will edit later, i have no idea what Utah will do tbh, with Kanter and Favors they are set down low, Burke and Hayward so they are probably looking for a 2-3 guy... hmm

Edited again... lol

This would have been so much more fun had Embiid not done his foot. Having a hard time justifying taking two guards at 3 & 10. Wiggins is still the dream, but assuming he's off the table or we haven't traded to 1 to get him, I'm trading 10 & Thad for Gordon/Randle.

****ing Cleveland.

I feel exactly the same. Would you be against taking Vonleh at 3? Offensively diverse, great size, fills a need. Then we could take Stauskas at 10 and have a 5 of MCW-Stauskas-Thad-Vonleh-Noel. Players in their positions, good defense, can run and spread the floor. It's not as excellent as I was hoping, but it's a complete team.

I like Vonleh but I have him nowhere near the potential superstar tag you can put on Wiggins/Parker/Embiid/Exum. I actually probably rate Randle as the better prospect. I don't think we have to worry about them looking like a complete team till at least 1 or 2 more drafts after this one. If this team was more ahead in it's development (as in playing playoffs), and we needed someone who could play the four then you'd give it more thought, but we're not so you go with the guy you can potentially build around. Vonleh will be great for anyone picking him up 5 or later, just don't want him to be guy we get at 3.

A mock draft is really tough, because I'm definitely expecting some trades which will throw everything out of whack.
Anyway here's mine:

1. Wiggins
2. Parker
3. Embiid
4. Exum
5. Randle
6. Smart
7. Gordon
8. Vonleh
9. Stauskas
10. McDermott
11. Gary Harris
12. Zach Lavine
13. TJ Warren
14. Adrien Payne

I'll probably change my mind 600 times, but this is it for now. For those wondering where LaVine is, he is going to the Bulls at 16 for me.
