Disappointing to hear of Max's latest setback, hopefully it is on the minor side as they've said. Encouraging he's already put in a fair bit of work this preseason and of course that it isn't his knee. Curious to know how the faith is holding up out there...

I'm used to the idea that players that have had significant knee injuries generally end up with various strains to the surrounding muscle tissue as they start back post-knee problem. For me it was expected and another minor strain to the hamstring and/or quad wouldn't surprise me over the remainder of the season ......

Actually my mrs (girlfriend) is going to buy me a cigar box guitar for my birthday. We're going to see a guy in the dandenongs weekend after next to try a bunch out

I’m really bullish this year, 6th to perhaps top 4.

I really rate our youngsters and we’ve added 4 experienced players to our best 22. Sure a lot needs to break our way but we have a lot of guys who look like A graders all of a sudden. We also have size and grunt, guys who won’t be intimidated or pushed around.

We will smash Collingwood first up, get on board we’re finals bound.

At this point I think we have to invest/plan for Keeler to be "The Guy" with Sharman as his backup and Hammer the swingman.

Allow Max to develop into a "nice to have" type option.
