Can't go for too many talks the way the game is played today with the press other wise your defenders can just waltz away with the footy.

Hurley, crameri and resting ruckman(Ryder, Hille or bellchambers) are capable of kicking a winning score.

I know Kyle Reimers does not get as many possessions as Myers but at least when he gets it he damages the opposition and is a very fast player.

Competing for different spots/roles in the team. Reimers will be looking to take the McVeigh/Winderlich role, whilst Myers is trying to keep Lonergan out of the team.

Myers is a very solid footballer, foot skills let him down, but his ability to win contested ball is A grade, would be close to every teams best 22. If he can sort his decision making out he will be a very very good player.

I don't think you're wrong but I think Ryder is more effective rucking later in games when the oppositions ruckmen are starting to tyre and he can leap all over them.

Ryder is most effective when he can run. In a ~30 minute quarter I'd have Ryder playing ruck around 20 minutes, 4 minutes on the bench, 6 minutes forward or something like that. Hille is better playing 10 minutes in the ruck, 15 minutes forward and 5 minutes on the bench. But, with Bellchambers a better ruckman than Ryder, Paddy should learn to play Hille's role

Reimers & Myers dont compete for the same positon.

If they did - Myers would win hands down. He is a tough contested ball winning unit with a good left boot. He has developed over the last few years and continues to improve into a consistant performer.

Reimers to me is flashy, he doesnt provide any defensive pressure. He is prone to significant brain fades that often result in serious scoring against us. Remiers firey nature makes him unpredictable and this is can be useful however it also makes him undisciplined & a target of oppoisition taunts.

Disposal skill wise Reimers probably has it over Myers, but winning his own ball - thats something he rarely does. Most importantly Reimers attitude is
terrible. Myers on the other hand has a great attitude - its evident in the way he plays. He is a hard working individual that focuses on winning the ball.

Personally not too bothered if Reimers never plays another game for the Bombers. Myers on the other hand will only continue to get better.

When it comes to winning a premiership, ultimately who can we rely on consistantly? Myers over Reimers any day of the week.

With Colyer starting to show more consistancy & Dell threatening to break into the 22 I see no space for Reimers in the first 22.

Ryder is better all round, but that's nothing against Hille's ability

Perhaps a little surprised at the popularity of Jake at the moment. I like the kid too, but I don't think he warrants a start in Round 1 based on his preseason.

Hurley will be our KPF#1, Crameri KPF#3 and Ryder/Hille to rotate KPF#2.

No more room for tall timber, even though Cramdog ain't that tall.

Thought Hammo said NLM will be playing VFL, maybe I heard wrong.
