Not a huge drinker of the stuff, but thought this might be interesting. I think the taste of it varies between glass, can and plastic by a fair margin. In order of priority, for me;
1) Glass. Preferably the glass with the greenish tinge (I think the Coke in the glass they use for the mixer bottles tastes slighty different, however, will not seperate for the purpose of this analysis). I remember travelling interstate back in 93 (think our glass buddies may have been on the way out) and coming across both 750ml and 1litre glass bottles. Can't recall if they were the greeish tinge ****ers though. Coke should make them again.
2) Can. The taste of Coke in a can does vary. I've always put it down to freshness. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it has no taste at all. I find that you'll usually get a decent can at a place that has high turnover, say, Red Rooster.
