Does anyone know if it has been confirmed by the AFL the date and time of Geelong's Prelim Final. I'm thinking it will be Friday night vs Dogs/Swans, but was wandering if it is official?

I believe so. Cause we finished on top, Geelong should have the longest break before the grand final.

Should be a 7.50pm start. (7.30pm for the Saturday night matches).

wouldnt the longest break be if we played saturday night, seeing as the hawks played last friday night and we played sunday? doesnt really matter i guess lol, we'll still have had a week off footy compared to the swans or dogs...

No, longest break relative to the grand final, if we make it of course. The break between qualifying and prelim doesn't count because we get a week off.

Exactly. You want the extra day leading up to the GF, not before the prelim..

should be a good night i reckon.
we're not going to experience the same crazy atmosphere that we did this time last year (PF v COLL, 98000) but it should still be pretty good.
somewhere around 60k for Swans game and maybe upwards of 70-75k v Dogs maybe. Weather pending

Wheww thinking of last year's prelim still gives me chills - literally, i don't know if i was shaking from the cold or nervous excitement!

Any game I perceive we may have a chance of going down, and I'm shivering in the first 15 mins, (I prefer to think of it as vibrating to burn off the negative energy;)) and then reality seems to set in and I sit back and enjoy the ride.:D Hasn't happened too many times this year thankfully!!
