My brother is over there too- keep an eye out for him- Cats man...but seriously, what a place to be in to recall a possible historical win.In Italy at the moment , will catch the game tomorrow in Rome but landing back in Perth on the final siren on GF dayHope it's a big W!
What an amazing Club we are privileged to support.
What an 18 years we have had since the drought breaker in 2007.
We are every chance to grab another Flag which would be amazing but even if we don't you can't help marvel at who we are and what we represent.
Go you good things![]()

Between Lauren + Alison, it’s quite typical Newscorp behaviour. Her coverage has been embarrassing, her employer must have given her a quota for clicks on her articles so she has manufactured outrage.
Are you able to unlock that?View attachment 2429699
Geelong have had just two coaches since 2000, and have appeared in the finals in 19 of the past 25 seasons.
That and great recruitment are why Geelong are the best team of the modern era, writes Mick McGuane.

Death, taxes and late ins for Cats. Stanley plays. They are just playing games mate. He's only named as an emergency. So really, they haven't named him.
And yes, I heard Scott say he's a definite pick.
But guess what? He isn't picked.
Cheers mateMy brother is over there too- keep an eye out for him- Cats man...but seriously, what a place to be in to recall a possible historical win.

Hope you’re feeling betterIf we win this week and I get tickets in ballot that are down the bottom which is unlikely but if I do, hopefully I’m better by Grand Final Day or else I’ll have to let someone else go and I’ll be disappointed.
Have RSV![]()

Thanks.Hope you’re feeling better
+ you’re fully recovered by GF day![]()
OMG!!!I’ll leave the pins in the voodoo doll then
Hes been reincarnated for his sins as Nick "the wiz" WatsonI have nightmares over fat boy Stewey Dew ripping us a new one - I couldn't believe it.
I dont think it's just your vintage, it's a credit to their sustained dominace. Was flicking through Foxtel earlier and saw on the guide: "Classic Final: Haw v Cats" and I shuddered involuntarily.
That reaction says it all really. Unless you're a Collingwood fan stumbling across "Collingwood Grand Finals of the 60s, 70s and 80s", you have no idea of the hold that Hawthorn has over the psyche of fans of my vintage.
All being well, we will know all we need to know 24 hours from now.
Scott was questioning the presence of an accredited media person at his media conference, which prompted the outburst. A a female AFL employee, accompanying a visually impaired ABC reporter Matt Lee at the press conference.Definitely a tall poppy syndrome. The media and footy world are sick of us.
Re: Scott..... Art Vandelay_ just posted in the Scott thread that apparently the staff member he had a go at was accompanying a vision impaired reporter.
Not sure which lady cried, but whatever he said obviously upset them.
Baz was having treatment on his back. His shorts were down + a towel for modesty.I don't get the Addy and have no knowledge of what he allegedly said.
It happened, he apologised, the apology was accepted and the dust settled.
But then just a few days later Smith had his run in with another reporter.
Both incidents involved a high profile Geelong identity and a female.
Right or wrong the media has wanted to make as much noise as they can about it just because they can, and they want to tear us down.
job.’Scott was questioning the presence of an accredited media person at his media conference, which prompted the outburst. A a female AFL employee, accompanying a visually impaired ABC reporter Matt Lee at the press conference.
I think it’s been blown out of proportion. The press are saying that Scott was ‘triggered’ by Lee’s presence ???
Stevie J unsighted that day... except for ONE passage of playChappy 2008 was a miss
SJ 2009 was a miss, but we covered him.
SJ 2011 was fit and his patella was taped and injected to perfection
