I managed to get through on my phones internet at 8:59 and still missed N and P.... even though it says its still available.

I then couldn't buy tickets in either M section then sure enough some opened up. I swear they selectively release tickets as they go.

Yeah i was pinning my details in at the rate of knots this morning and once I clicked 'buy', it said allocation exhausted and only single seats were left. They must have been snapped up in quick time.

And sorry, I meant I'm Q18, not M18. So top level front row. THOSE DAMN BARS ARE GOING TO BE IN MY WAY.

I hope you don't have any drunks in your row. The tight structures of the MCG seats make moving your legs for the '5 minute before end of quarter alcohol run' very uncomfortable.

i screwed up had level 1 seats and relised i didnt have enough money in my account by $5 and lost the tickets!

Anyone know why standing room was exhausted so quickly? Will the AFL release more once tickets are gone. I would rather stand than sit up in the heavens..

Or on the off chance im looking for 3 tickets if anyone knows anyone.

The MCG seats are better then the one at Etihad at least, if someone wants to get out for any reason, the whole row basically has to stand up.

I don't mind aisle seats, never have.

OK, after my previous post here, turns out standing room doesn't go on sale until reserved seats are sold (confirmed by MCG on Twitter today). I'm going to check the Ticketek/MCG website every few hours and hope to jump on and secure a couple myself.
