Yep, I picked it up yesterday for $23, and it looks great.

Still learning it. There's so many things to manage. Issue is I'm doing Fantasy Drafts with Melbourne and our facilities in-game are shit, so everybody's unhappy with them...

Maybe if you can get your list to perform, you get more members, which means more revenue?

I'm splitting my money into medical staff and facilities at the moment, so I can push my players harder at training with less injuries. Hopefully. Also, Melbourne's staff are crap.

In the game Norths facilities are shit even when i finished top 4. Cant help ya there Zac and eth.

Yeah good game. But some things could be better done and no doubt will be fixed in time.
Just being able to see all player attributes in a table would be nice, and multiple positions, it's just too slow going in to every individual player profile. Plenty of other nuances, but good game.

Does the game have an editor? I don't see it mentioned in the features list.

If so, how detailed is it - ie can you create a new team and replace one of the existing ones in the game with it for a career?

Ah, so you couldn't, for instance, replace the current Swans with the 1987 Swans. Shame.

Can you edit/delete/add players?

You can edit current players attributes to make them stronger, or make them weaker. You can't unfortunately add your own players which is something i believe they defiantly need add into the next version.

Okay, thanks for that.

Might give this version a miss and wait for the next one, especially since that will have the full 18 teams.

Seriously, $23 for a game that will certainly keep you busy in the offseason. Just my opinion...

Any tips on getting some draft picks?

Trying to trade away some of my more developed players, such as Kieren Jack, Troy Chaplin and Jarrad McVeigh, who are 84, 86 and 88 overall respectively, I think.

I've got an insanely young list with insanely high peaks - I've got 26 players with a peak of over 85. Finished seventh this season.

Agreed. I play this game more then AFL live on 360 and that says a lot. It will certainly keep you busy in the off season, and it keeps me busy on my weekends :p

Exactly the same as me. I was OBSESSED with AFL Live on my xbox when I first got it. Have only played it 2 or 3 times since I got PC in the school holidays. Play PC probably at least 2 or 3 times a week...
The other thing is, PC is a whole year game, compared to AFL Live. Half the game is offseason stuff, compared to absolutely nothing on AFL Live. Dunno about you but I used to feel weird playing the old AFL games on PS2 in cricket season

I love this game but one problem is in every draft there is always 10+ stars and barely any with high potential dont live up to their potential.

My number 10 draft pick in Lucas Goodwin (Simon Goodwin's son) however if it was his son, Simon must of been around 15 when he had Lucas :p

His peak is 100, and in his first season is overall 82, and is averaging around 19 disposals a match for the club. Will hate to see what he is capable of in 2 years time. Goodwin is a full back as well

I have Nathan Buckley's son Trent. Absolute gun. Very inconsistant though. His peak is 94, and in his 4th match he kicked 6, then the next match he kicked 2 behinds. Hopefully by the time he is about 80 overall he will dominate games regularly

For those who havent you should check out the Leagues and Gaming Stories section. There are some good stories about PC 2011 by saintkildaman, hayden sumner, me and many others.

Quick update on my season thus far.

Played: 17
Won: 17
Lost: 0
%: 135.07

Defeated Essendon (beat me in the past 2 GFs and 2nd on ladder) by 4 goals a few weeks ago
Sam Day :)heart:) leading the Coleman by 16, having kicked 88 from 15 games. This includes him playing a goaless game at FB when I was keen on trying something new. Averaging 5.87 goals despite this too :)

Will hopefully have it finished by tonight

There are 2 different type of versions of this game i would like to see.

1. Have everything the same, but instead of being a coach of a particular side, you can create your own player, and make it a individual career. Have the season calender, and go day by day in training, reviews, interviews, off season trading, Preseason training and the works. Would be very entertaining and exciting to see what potential your player can reach.

The second version of this game i would like to see, is instead of being a coach of a particular side, you can become the owner of the AFL. Again, go day by day on the AFL Calender, and you can make decisions on TV Rights, Match schedules, you can have a say in the Tribunal for the week, and make the fixtures/finals different. Also you can add teams into the competition after a certain amount of years.
