Thommo's longevity will be helped by our yound midfied brigade stepping up to take the load off over the next few seasons. He's remained healthy (touch wood) for quite awhile, but we can't expect him to keep shouldering the load without it taking a toll on his body.

All the more reason to start getting games into Crouch, Lyons, Riley, etc now before it's too late.

I do think Crouch should be played sooner rather than later though.
