And that’s me done for preseason

Probably the best conditioning I’ve seen the squad in since I’ve been attending training.

There’s a bit to look forward to this season albeit we’ll lose more than we win and there’ll be the occasional shellacking when things come completely unstuck

Stay positive, take the good with the bad as the players learn the new game plan and Mini identifies what he has to work with. Some will thrive, others will fall away but one thing I’m sure of is that the effort and desire to compete and improve will be there

This gameplan looks quite drilled into them already. The swarm to slingshot working ok on several occasions. Seems like the straightforward nature of it will be quickly picked up by our young list which is a huge positive

So far Petch and Dewar and Hutchinson all look like they are pushing for round one along with Bo Allan
Liking Ginbey run of half back and options he provides does not always get it but getting in good positions to run the ball out of defence

Maybe it's ankle for long and not the knee. Was talking with trainers just then. Hopefully just a generic ankle roll you can run out.

I'm loving some of these follow-up efforts. Guys are disposing of the ball and charging forward to get involved again rather than leaving it as someone else's problem.

It’s good to see some intent; tackles sticking, players get back off the mark quickly and multiple efforts. If they can maintain those sort of basics for the length of the season, we’ll at least be making progress.

Constantly trying to keep the ball moving forward even if it isn’t clean - resulted in at least 2 goals

After Allen kicked that last goal he immediately pushed back into defence and we played a control game for the last 2 minutes trying to maintain possession

I'm kinda cooked on Matt Flynn being anything with us and I REALLY don't wanna see another season of Bailey Williams. Too bad guys like Barnett haven't really developed yet.
