This weeks match between the Warriors and the Allies has been changed so that the draw is more fair for the allies. The allies now have the home game, because they were scheduled to play thier first 4 games of the season away. This was an unfair strain on the players and so this week both sides will be flying to Lords (allies home ground). It does not affect the Warriors, because they have already had a home game this season and the round 8 clash that they have with the allies has also been changed, so that the warriors get the home game. Tickets to the games had not yet been released, so neither club is affected financially.
The warriors will undoubtably be dissapointed with the decision going on their current shocking form
. But the players should brace the challenge and look at the opportunity to be one of the first sides to play a Bigfooty Cricket league game at the home of cricket. That is where true champions play.
The officals here are BFCL appologies to anyone that now has to fork out money to fly overseas. But it was also seen as an advantage for those people living across the rest of Australia. With the collapse of Ansett domestic flights have been thrown into chaos, so it does make it easier if people book international flights instead.
