I thought Presti looked ok last night. A bit slow at times but all in all did ok coming of a bad season after injury. your thoughts?

Played Lynch tight, actually worked up field at times and when he had the ball didnt **** up and completely muff it

Hopefully by the end of the nab cup ( i expect him to play all the matches) he will be fully up to speed and ready and raring to go

bloody oath! i couldnt give a **** if presti didnt touch the ball once, as long as he keeps his opponents to 8 touches like last night! i bet you that guys like fevola and franklin are not going to kick 8 on us this year. they dont call presto the human glove for no reason. welcome back presti.

If he is fit he's still one of our most important players. Whilst I think Nafe Brown will be a good player in time, we will have serious problems if he is our no.1 backman this season.

Is assured to make all the "Presti's in the past the game has changed" crowd look silly this season. Played on Lynch who whilst not a great marker of the ball is a very good mover, so it would have been a good test for Presti's agility and movement and a test he passed with flying colours.

the posters on here that wanted him out are the ones that go crazy about youth. Presti is still way ahead of brown and itll only be a huge benefit to brown and the team if presti can get back to his old self and be injury free

Ok - f**k me - did you see Quentin Lynch, was he even playing.

The human glove mark II is back!

He is pivatol to our success this season, much like a fit and firing Fraser.

I thought he looked very fit and agile out there, especially for a bloke with recent injury problems. The important thing is that he limited Lynch's opportunities, I seem to remember that both of Quinten's shots were either a long way out or low percentage.

You can't really fault Presti's performance when he keeps his direct opponent goalless, and limits him to only one mark for the entire game, which is way down on Lynch's typical output. He's an old-school defender who may not rack up a heap of possies, but he is damn effective and he performs his task incredibly well.

and wasn't it great to see him back himself and take on a few players, blind turn and all, presti has some new tricks!

OK-OK. Relax. There where no threads about Presti and as i said i thought he did ok after coming of a season hamperd by a pre-season foot injury. And yes he did a great job keeping bigQ to bugger all, but while the Q may move alright i wouldn't consider him to be a class forward i actualy think he's one of the worst forwards going around. And as i said i thought Presti looked a little slow at times and wonder if the foot is still giving a little trouble, or mayb it's just because it's the first game this year and everyone is up and running that made Presti look a little slow, i don't know. I do agree we need Presti in the side and was more or less interested on how people thought he went, so please don't get hung up on the word 'OK'.
