Agreed, I envisioned the Roos having around pick 10 for some reason. Must have been due to the smashing we gave them. Not sure Moran has too much value. I think the Roos would be lucky to get a second rounder for him.

Collingwood looking for a midfielder?? They will need one with there best one IMO having a delayed start to the season next year.
He asked what will he be worth. I said what I think. As a required player, we should be looking for quality compensation.
I named Smith as we will be in the hunt for a tall defender during this off season. Noone else at the Roos took my fancy.sorry norm I had the impression you may have been suggesting that the cats hold all the cards in this one. I agree you should get fair comp. As an outsider looking at this one I would say swallow would be fair but jess smith would be paying over the odds. He will be in norths best 3 players over the next 5-10 years imo. Having said that I reckon swallow would be in the same situation as prismall is in now and may struggle to break into the side unless injuries occur. If your going to trade for a player I reckon it should be a developing kpp. Your best bet would be a draft pick though as it would help ease sal cap pressures for 2 or 3 years.

Smith should be playing mid next season... what about the guy in Geelong Ressies arn't they going to pick him?I named Smith as we will be in the hunt for a tall defender during this off season. Noone else at the Roos took my fancy.
Swallow will be the next Simpson... Hard in and under type player at the roos and seeing as he played all games this year who is going to take his spot in the line-up??sorry norm I had the impression you may have been suggesting that the cats hold all the cards in this one. Yeah Thompson, we should probably pick him up, but he is by no means a 100% AFL player.Smith should be playing mid next season... what about the guy in Geelong Ressies arn't they going to pick him?
His got 1 year to go. But reportedly wants out.Can someone clarify Prismall's contract status. Reading the Herald Sun this morning he wasn't listed as out of contract, although most people here are claiming he is and that is why Geelong will be forced to trade him.

Yet he said this at the GF Parade in the lead-up to the Grand Final. His got 1 year to go. But reportedly wants out.
Seems pretty clear that he isn't going anywhere!Brent Prismall said:It's a pretty relaxing day for me, because I'm not playing tomorrow, so it's good to soak it in and it's all a good experience.
I would have loved to be playing tomorrow but I'm realistic and obviously you don't change winning teams, which is fair enough. Everyone has to have their time out of the team, and it's my time now.
Hopefully next year I get the opportunity, and that's what driving me.
OK , with 1 year left on the contract , I'd doubt he will be going anywhere unless , its an overwhelmingly favorable deal. The disappointments of not being selected can be forgotten when he gets a regular game next year.
Inside.Would you guys class Prismall as an inside or outside midfielder?
IMO , the players mentioned from Melbourne or North hold no interest for me. Sure Prismall was not playing much this year but neither was Hawkins or Varcoe etc.
I see Prismall in our side next year , so for us to trade him for players that wouldn't make our best 25 would be silly.
To me if Melbourne or North really want the Pris , then I would want to group him with another player like David Johnson/Tenace/Callan/Playfair/Gardiner etc. and get player capable of playing in our side
For eg.
Matthew Bate for Prismall & Tenace
Not sure who that would be at North
Would you guys class Prismall as an inside or outside midfielder?
agreed.Well and truly inside... He would play in almost every other team in the AFL. Many clubs need more ball winners and less receivers, Collingwood come to mind.
Geelong will not be able to give him a game... we are blessed with ball winners, especially with Selwood coming on board.
Except for the fact the he is uncontracted. If he wants to go another club he will
