problems with Optus mobile network?

as of late, myself and some friends and family have had a few problems with optus. keeps coming up saying "SIM card not detected" or "insert SIM card"

have noticed on my phoe it keeps switching from 3g network to the standard network.


wondering if any other optus customers are experiencing the same problem?

Actually, I am too. I've been getting Inactive Sim on my phone and it's been cutting out like crazy. I thought it was just me dropping my phone too often but if others are having the same problem...?

I know someone who's texts haven't been receiving properly on Optus
Just thankful I'm not with them I guess.

I had this problem and found removing the SIM and replaced it worked. Unfortunately it damages the SIM over time and exacerbating the problem, so I has to get a new SIM card.

Hasn't happened once with a new card.

Try restarting the phone without removing the SIM.
