Is anyone else really bad when it comes to procrastination.

I'm shocking and getting worse with age. Thing is I leave assignments to the last minute and get them done but the finished product is usually utter crud which if I had started earlier I could have done a decent job on.

Got a little assignment due tomorrow which I've started on and will easily get done, but it's definitely crap (already virtually passed subject hence why I don't really care!).

Do you procrastinate?

Have you in the past but now more efficient in managing your time?

Or have you always been good with managing things on time?

I have two essays due... today. I haven't started them yet. But I'll do them when I'm done on the internet... and cleaning my room. And then I'll take a run, and then have a shower.

The worst thing is that this isn't unusual for me.

Yep. We have an assignment we've had 12 weeks to do that is due tomorrow. I started on this Monday just passed and am finishing as we speak.

I'm the best. I have my year 12 Health & Human Development exam tomorrow arvo at 3pm. I have not looked at anything to do with the subject for over three weeks. I've had a week since my last exam to prepare. I'm going into the city at 5am tomorrow morning to line up for Pearl Jam tickets. By the time I get home and have a half decent sleep, I'll have an hour of study time before my exam.

I like your work!

I take it you're not considering Physiotherapy as a possible replacement to Journalism ;)

I have posted this previously, so indulge me, or not. The 1937, Inaugural, Annual General Meeting of the Procrastinator's Society has been postponed, again.

Aggh, I still haven't started the essays, and I have to work tomorrow which means... Monday.

I still have an undetermined mark from last semester because I handed the last essay in late. I put talking to my lecturer until the last week of this semester about it.

As for my year 12 exams, I didn't study for any of them before the morning I was doing it.

I'm never going to get anywhere in this life am I?

Don't worry, you'll get somewhere ... you'll just be late ;)

I finished that assignment I had to, it's crap but I'm well and truly past the point of caring! :p

I'm shocking for it, I work best when I get sleep, exercise, decent food and time management, which all 4 rarely com eat the same time. The interent though is probably my biggest problem, it chews up all my time when I should be doing other things.

Gotta stop it hey.

Try being a procrastinator and someone who does a half-arsed job at everything. My new motto is close enough is good enough.

That has been my motto for the last 19 years, along with if something's hard the first time, it's not worth doing.

Close enough is good enough works particularly well in the chem lab.

I think my mistake was taking a NIrvana lyric and using it as my motto: Oh well, whatever, nevermind.
