It was great he didn’t come down to the bench, we were getting pumped with them and they’re uncontested marks in the first and they give the players the message and the players change the way they play.
That was my biggest positive, coaches decided on a strategy and the players executed with 100% effort.

Macca played on Cripps for the first quarter and a half then was moved to half forward/second ruck where he ended up playing on Cripps again as second ruck. Dow replaced Macca in the centre clearance. In the first quarter and a half Cripps had about 19 possessions and Carlton were 41 points in front.

I was laying on our bed watching it in the bedroom, same with me Miss Kitty was laying peacefully next to me, when we kicked those final goals I was yelling, clapping my hands and kicking my legs in delight. Miller & Blight had very good games. Blues went in with one KPF. Who kicked a goal. Game 1 2024, McKay & Curnow kicked 5.
