Considering using a throwaway account to write this tbh, to hide from certain people who'll see this, but is it just me or is Cripps immune to any criticism according to Blues supporters? It's like if he touches the ball it was amazing, because they just see everything he does as incredible. I think they're also in disgust that there's any applause for KMac. Like, what do you mean KMac was good, he was against Cripps and Cripps is untouchable therefore KMac was rubbish. They're actually offended that KMac got a mention as though he beat Cripps. So a few questions - what defence is there of KMac's game against Cripps, and are they just clutching at straws when they can't see any flaw in Cripps? Or are there not any reasonable criticisms of his game? I kind of think their depth is so shallow Cripps is always going to be a possession hoarder, and not everything he touches is gold. I think there's a blindness there.

cripps is very very very good at throwing it

KMc was integral in breaking down the partnership between Cripps & Walsh, normally what the Blues rely on to drive through the midfield.
KMac player as a midfielder on Cripps for the first one and a half quarters. Then we moved Dow into the centre. KMac then played half forward and second ruck ironically against Cripps In his one and a half quarters in the centre Carlton got 41 points ahead. Check the replay the only time KMac was in the centre bounce after his initial disastrous effort was when he was relieving ruckman. He actually wasn’t bad as the backup ruckman to be fair.

some dude called up sen and said the Richmond kids were running around all day and even had the energy to do backflips at the end of the game

Screen
carltoon twitter campaigners have been deleting posts made before the game

weak as piss as usual and expect nothing more from the weakest fans in the comp
Screenshot and tweet it back to them

Only just caught this and posted a screenshot in the oppo thread from the herald sun. But sheesh SEN and Carlton in partnership. Gives me the boke
Don't they do that for every club? Or they used to.

Bits of the Report from VFL…

Liam Fawcett was strong early, kicking two goals in the opening term. The 197cm key forward finished with three goals against the Blues.

Youngster Jasper Alger was impressive against Carlton to finish with two goals on the day, ….

as was 195cm key forward Jonty Faull, who was impressive in his first official outing in Richmond colours….“He was great, he was crashing packs…that’s all we wanted from him,” Bachelor said of Faull.

Carlton 1.8 2.11 5.12 8.16 (64)

Richmond 6.0 8.1 11.4 13.5 (83)

Goals: Fawcett (3), Ryan (3), Faull (2), Alger (2), McCarthy, Sims, McAuliffe

Either Fawcett or Faull comes in for Lunch
Jasper comes in for Steely
would like fawcett but i reckon they will pick ryan

thank you Dillon for changing my game plan and will be able to eat proper for a month. Now just fix Lynch issue please.

Dillon is a campaigner of the highest order κουρεμένο μουνι

Wankleys on the spectrum….would have been bashed consistently at my school
Jim Henson Netflix GIF by The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Also copped a mention in Yze’s post match presser about his leadership and essentially said he had been earmarked for a future leadership group position

I probably wouldn’t even considered it 6 months ago but depending on his year he could be a new contender for the captaincy in 12 to 24 months

I know most posters didn’t rate his game…but I thought Steely was ok…clearly played a role…..to applied a truck load of pressure…which he did…laid 5 tackles

Selectors might look to drop him though….

With Jasper in our VFL bests…reckon he might get the nod…oozes class and poise…love him…was in our bests

Thought MRJ was ok in the vfl…..but something missing with him at the moment …needs to find form
I agree with your assessment of Steely Green. He did a lot of running and pressuring and a number of times he was all the way back deep in defence. He seems to work well in tandem with Seth Campbell
