Punishments

Malthouse slammed our constant turning over of the ball, which is fair enough. He said there would be a few players who will get punished and most likely not play RD3. Who do you think he is talking about?
I know Licca had a shocker, but I remember Malthouse saying 'aslong as Paul is breathing I'll select him' or something along those lines.
Daisy also made a lot of mistakes, but he's only young.
Pendlebury was similar to Daisy, but he also did some good things. These two won't get punished you would think.
Who do you think will most likely get dropped?

We are reading too much into it. Even if he has a few players in mind he won't drop them, maybe they'll be considered or told they are close to being dropped but they won't all be dropped.

He was talking about good players who didn't play to their best, he could mean Johnson, R.Shaw, Lica, Fraser, Clement, Wakelin and Cloke. We just needed one of the players to play a great game and we probably would've won. The game was there to be taken by a matchwinner and noone stood up.

Lica should be dropped, I don't buy the "MM won't drop Lica" stuff. MM said he would never drop Lica last year, yet he still did.

He talked about footskills but bet you he brings in Cox and drops O'Brien.

Danny N will get dumped too and Lonie will return.

For a night game should play **** BUT PROBABLY will not - it willl be same old OB/LICCA/TARKS.

Licuria will be dropped I think. If your going to start a new thread at least elaborate on your point. This is going to get merged because we're already having this discussion on this thread.

I hope you're wrong about O'Brien. He tries his guts out.

You're right. He has too hold Licca, Tarks and O'Bree accountable at one stage. I would be hoping to see Cox come in. Probably for Licca. He had no influence last night.

Mick would find it hard to drop Licca, we all saw him after the 2002 grand final... ppl from collingwood played harder than paul on the day but it was still licca mick was most concerned about after the game...
