Also, what about Canadian "punkers" Propagandhi ? Definately no commercial appeal, heavy political undertones, pro gay, feminist, animal liberationist etc.

If happy to call them punk, then they are/were great live.

I havent been lucky enough to see them live, but if i ever get the chance ill jump at it. Just reading their lyrics nowand i tend to agree with everything said.

How to clean everything was their best IMO.

Avril may not be a punk rocker, but i saw her at the melb concert and she was AWESOME!!
so who cares if shes not the stereotype "punk" that u guys have dreamed up. she makes good music so who cares, she oesnt need to be labelled.

I saw Blink182 at Warp in i think 96 or 97 i mean there not 'PUNK' but they are really energetic and provide a great set.

Saw Bodyjar about 3 years ago and they where fantastic as well.

also saw a band about 2 years ago im not sure if you guys have hard of them but there called Catch22. Catch22 play a extremely fast brand of SKA with catchy choruses and sick guitar riffs, most deffiently if your into the catchy SKA scene check them out they are fantastic.

cheers

I don't count myself as "punk" at all but the best punk bands I've seen are frenzal rhomb, for amusment only and the living end if they are counted.
