They have actually framed a market called "purrfect pussies" and you can have a bet on which team will be the first to beat Geelong this year .... alternatively, at $9.00 you can bet on them to go undefeated.

Some interesting observations .... Adelaide this week offer the lowest odds ($3.50) for the first team to knock us over ... after that it's Bulldogs at $6 Brisbane at $7 and Sydney at $8.

Most glaring odds for me are rd 17 Vs Hawthorn ... bookies offering $17 (good odds in a 2 horse race between the 2 contenders).

Personally I'm dissapointed you can't take odds on them to go undefeated over 25 games this year (including finals and premiership) ...... a touch cocky - yes, but I've got a feeling they are filthy on themselves after last year and the beast has been stirred.

I'd like to see the 25 game bet too

Other than that, I hate betting when it takes til september to get the money back. But I'd have $100 at 20's on the 25 game run.

If you think geelong will go through undefeated put ur money say $50 on Geelong to win each week. He worked out that you would get a better return on your money doing it this way.

Ie R1 $50 @ $ 1.10
R2 $55 @ $1.20

That's a fair call but people are lazy and gutless on those sort of bets.

If you had $500 on pp at $9 you are stuck with it.
If your bank was $4500 after 17 rounds would you have $4500 @ 1.20?

The beauty of it is that you can skip rounds. V Hawks, meh don't need it. Wait the following week and get another return hehe

I'm taking the pi55 in case you had'nt worked it out from the comment about needing to bet on 25 games undefeated.

Was really just trying to point out how ridiculous it was by the bookies to frame a market for just one of the teams to go undefeated given the fact that we're not actually the reigning premiers are we !

Agree with one of the other posts that you're better of taking the slim pickings on the 'head to head' betting each week which I think is what the 'catman' does in darwin every week. The other standout bet is Hawthorn in rd 17 paying $17 to be the first team to beat Geelong.

Didn't someone do something similar last year? I remember reading someone put about $100,000 on Geelong every week with Centrebet and won about $1.5 million over the season.
