AFL clubs have been told that Quinten is up for trade. Upon hearing this Carlton asked their Captain about his ex-teamate to which Judd stated it would be a worthwile path to go down. With that in mind, Carlton will consider taking Quinten in this years trade period, if i cannot land other desired players.

And yes, as stated in the papers, the fact he is playing in the team with the worst midfield in the league, is infact working HEAVILY in his favour, some believing he could kick 50 goals a season at FF in a top 8 side. Debateable in my opinion.

The good news for those who arent keen, is that 2 other clubs are more keen than us.

The Blues must be desperate to even consider him, surely there will be other worthwhile options worth pursuing even from his own team e.g Mckinley clearly not liked by Worsfold, Lynch has been given special treatment over there with sub-standard performances.

i wouldnt mind lynch, i've seen waite on one on one battles with his opponent and doesnt seem to our body him, where as lynch can be that long option, he wont cost us as much, pavlich would, just my opinion. go blues, any other trade rumours going around

Because he is better than what you've got. The problem with WC is their midfield. If they had a semi decent midfield Lynch would be doing alright. A bit hard for a forward when the ball is kicked over their head or to the defenders advantage every time unless you're a superstar (LeCras). Both Mckinley and Kennedy struggled this year too.

I'd take Waite a million times over as a KP forward than Lynch.

Know the feeling of balls being kicked everywhere but where it should. That's where Fev was good with his ability to turn absolute sh1t in gold.

Lynch has barely got out of a gallop all year. To be fair who thought Barry Hall would perform as well as he done at the doggies. Lynch would be a better get than Mckinley this guy gets 3 possesions a game and is softer than Monfries. If he could be taken for minimal damage in a comprised draft could be worth a punt.

Ok, i understand that Quinten Lynch isn't the best full forward in the AFL, who is in a form slump and is in his late 20's.
But surely it is obvious that we are in need of a full forward, to alleviate the pressure of our big blokes and bring the ball down for our small blokes. If anything, Lynch will provide a contest, that sentanta and hampson probably don't have the footy smarts to do. Lynch has proven that he is more than capable as a forward with a good midfield, and if he comes cheeply. I reckon go for it
