It doesn't explain why you couldn't get yourself up for round 1. Surely round 1 is the easiest to get yourself going for.

I would've thought after an effort like that you would be saying bring on round 3, not round 11.

Collingwood wouldnt get the exposure of ANOTHER public holiday game for their sponsers without us, they do very well out of the deal

Ignoring all the bitching going on right now I would just like to say be proud dee's supporters! Your team played great yesterday and lets face it, the best team lost. I went through all this heart ache in the mid and late 90's so I think alot of loyal Collingwood supporters know how you feel!

I can't stand the p***k. Every QB he mentions that Melbourne see it as a Grand Final but Collingwood don't value it higher than any other game.

We have to beat them on QB just so I can see his face.

Not that I have any particular disliking of Mick Malthouse (Ive met him a few times) but he's made this comment after a number of Melbourne v Collingwood games - and its starting to sound like some sort of copout for poor performances.

Should be a great game. Collingwood will go into it guns blazing, you could tell when they were singing the song that they used a get out of jail free card and will want to redeem themselves. Melbourne will bring their all after that heart breaking defeat

as a bonus this game should generate a lot of interest for neutral supporters and could see an extra 5 - 10k through the gates.
