Now that you mention it, i wondered why my Australian cousin, born and bred in Cairns, was ranting on the other day, "choice bro, yeah hey yeah" like a Kiwi.

I would have to think it would be words more like "chey" and "bulla" and "izole" That is how islanders speak and it sort of rubs off on everyone, as there aren't many Kiwi's in Cairns.
