Not good.

Quent's journey so far:
On 15th July 2016, Quenton was advised of a lump located behind his kidney the size of an avocado. He took extreme holistic measures over the next three months to fight the mass and hopefully reduce its size. A second CT Scan revealed that the mass was continuing to grow.
On 25 October 2016, Quenton was admitted to Hollywood Hospital to have a minor operation to have a stent inserted in his ureter as the growth was now affecting his ability to urinate. Whilst the operation was being conducted the Urologist noticed some abnormality in the left testicle and after further ultrasounds Quenton was diagnosed with Stage 3 Testicular Cancer.
On the 28th October 2016, Quenton had another operation to remove the primary cancer. Upon recovery from this latest operation Quenton is due to commence chemotherapy to treat the stage 2 and 3 cancer within his abdomen and chest.
Although this journey will be his biggest challenge yet, he will be especially motivated by his partner Shannan and beautiful kids, Ella, Ollie and Jackson.
There is not a lot friends and family can do during this time but we all know that stress can play a key role in hindering a successful recovery. Although we don’t like to talk about it, finance is always an issue. During this time, there will be a lot of natural therapies and supplements that Quenton will be undergoing and taking during and after Chemo to get his immune system back to where it needs to be. This can be costly and is not covered under private health insurance.
I’m sure Quenton, once he has made a full recovery will be forever indebted.
