Does anybody know:

- The stat of how many goals per game Lloyd and Lucas contribute together since they've started.
- Also, what is the percentage of when playing together, one of them kicks 5+ goals, per game, since they've started?

Cheers

there have been lots of games were both have played well. Round one last year lloyd kicked 8 and lucas 4, and against collingwood in 05 lloyd kicked 8 and lucas 5, and in 2000 lloyd kicked 100+ and lucas kicked more than 50. At their best they are arguably on of the best forward combinations in the league.

hey does Lucas play full forward now and we play Lloyd at CHF. i no Lloyd is a superstar but gees he would not be a bad CHF and he then can make a captains pressence. He has built up nicely and he really seem to like rooming around but after the game Lucas seem to think what happen on Sunday wont be a regular occurence

Lloyd was playing up the ground almost as a link man, to exploit Rutten's lack of pack and to get him outta the goal square. Great, smart play by Lloydy (or Sheeds).

I think they might chop and change through the course of the year and even throughout a game. Given Lucas was dominating his opponent Lloyd pushed up the ground to give him some space, but can easily see that role reversing if Lloyd starts to get a few.

Not having Lloyd there last year might help us, as in the past i think we have become to Lloyd-centric whereas on the weekend the players seemed to look for Lucas more than they had in the past.

yep i think you are on the money with this one it will depend on who we play but either way we are very luck to have them both so maybe no Coleman medal heading Lloydy way this year

Lloyd has been doing this for years, the difference was in years gone by we've rotated a number of forwards through behind him, rather than just Lucas.

At times we've had Hird, Barnard, Alessio, Bewick, Long, Lovett, Mark Johnson play out of the square (among others) to exploit matchups and Lloyd has sacrificed his own game.

The difference yesterday was Lucas is a much better footballer than he was several years ago and he was the go-to man for a signicant part of the game rather than just using several cameo's.

It will continue to happen. Don't be at all suprised to see someone like Davey isolated at FF this week to exploit the lack of lock down small defenders at Fremantle. It's worked for us in the past.

Wouldnt surprise me to see Solly and McPharlin work in tandem down back for Freo.

Where did you find that out?

You go to a site that lists all their individual games round by round compare the two players and you have your answer ;)

Would be interesting to see odds on who will win our leading goalkicker for 2007. Lloyd would be the obvious pick, but with the way Lucas finished '06 (35 from the last 7) & the strategy of the Adelaide match, he could pip Lloyd this season, as he almost did in 2005 (51 - 59).

I Would also like to see the odds on which one will have the most handballs for the year.
