Questionable Decisions 2012/2013

- Playing Sinclair as much as he has.
- Appointing/Keeping Lappin on as the fwd coach even though he knew our forward line was shit last year.
- Allowing the players to kick it to Cloke all the time, makes us more predictable and no more 'fwd line unpredictability' with no mids chipping in to kick goals.
- Not playing Didak/Playing him as the Sub.
- Taking Josh Thomas out of the team for Clarke. We need JT tonight.
- Possibly pushing the players too hard in Training causing them to become brittle. Possible cause of our many injuries.
- Supposedly values 'kicking skills' yet our kicking has been terrible all year.
- Taking a premiership team into one struggling to make the 8.

Please feel free to add yours here.

Before you say "He led us to top 4 with all the injuries/etc/etc/ last year"
You must remember that our game plan stinked of Eade last year and it must be said that it wasn't all 'Bucks' who did all this. I question his value as a head coach, i question his match day performances, i question his decision making and i question his motivational capabilities.

Last year we got to the Prelim on the motivation of Jmac. If we didn't have that to go on then we wouldn't have won the WCE Game.

The hard questions HAVE to be asked NOW.

The only thing questionable tonight is JT being left out for Clarke when we needed another ball winner not a half back flanker and the other is refusing to play Dids who has more skill and class on his little finger than most guys in our side.

However, it is half time and he was out coached that half where he went a 5 man forward line consisting of 3 talls and didn't make their defensive playmakers in Malceski or Mc Veigh defend.

He can turn it around but I believe we need Krak, Elliott, Blair and Dwyer or Sidebottom in attacking half. Witts ain't working. We are too slow on the rebound.

He's given Sinclair a good run but also appears to have realised he's a failure as a forward. That decision has also probably been expedited by Elliott's brilliance.

JT out for Clarke doesn't look great but Bucks may feel his hand was forced by the lack of Shaw/Thomas of half-back.

My main concern is the press. If it's our base defence, you can't do a half-arsed job of it 3 weeks out of 4. It usually has at least moderate success against sides who run and carry out of the backline, but against the Hawks and other kicking sides it gets cut to ribbons. Something needs to be done... if the gameplan is no longer viable we need to change it, if it's personnel who are the issue we will take longer to effect it. Watching guys like Marley Williams tonight just highlights how important a defender who can win one-on-ones is. Heater WTF?

Clarke and Maxwell though... you could carry Clarke if he was your offensive weapon like Seedsman, but the bloke hasn't even learned to handball next to the boundary under pressure yet.

We could still win :) came back against freo by more! Optimism at its finest :)

I love Buckley and back him to the hill. But compare the heat mark neeld cops at melbourne with the worst list in football history to Buckley and this list and I reckon Buckley can count himself lucky with the lack of scrutiny so far. Unfortunately a coach is only as good as his players, but you can be the best technical and tactical coach in the world, but if your players don't buy In and play for you then all the best tsctics and theories count for nothing.

To me it looks as though the players simply don't play with the absolute desperation, the willingness to treat every action or contest the most important in Their careers, like they used to. Buckley doesn't seem to be getting the players to really get emotionally involved in what it is he's trying to create.

Questionable Decisions 2012/2013

The hard questions HAVE to be asked NOW.

- not keeping leon davis for 2012
- playing chris dawes (a forward) as a ruckman
- completely ruining chris dawes confidence
- trading dawes(a 24 year old who helped out cloke & our structure and at least brought the ball to ground out of our side)
- drafting lynch(mostly useless)
-drafting jordan russell (no composure, slow, nothing more than a VFL player)
-playing jordan russell
-not playing didak
-having no kick in strategy other than kick the ball long and we turn it over
-having no defensive strategy for opponents kicking in, allowing them to score regularly
-having no gameplan
- not elevating martin even though he was best on ground with 34 possesions last week
-makes maxwell captain when hes not in our best 22, and pendles is the best player in the comp
- kept playing sinclair even though he is not up to afl standard
-keeps playing marty clarke when hes slow, awful overhead and has not improved in the last 5 years
- plays witts when he is still 2-3 years away
- refuses to play jackson paine when he kicks a bag in the VFL and would be vital to our forward structure
- we no longer play with intensity, tackling and defensive pressure, never gets the players up
- most players have gone backwards under buckley
- cloke is the best forward in the comp but bucks gameplan is to have him compete against up to 4 opponents in a contest and never gets one on ones
- introduced gameplan of kicking the ball backwards from the wing to "switch play" but we are so slow we go nowhere and most often turn the ball over
- we have a great inside mid in josh thomas but he keeps dropping him

Not dropping Lynch a couple of weeks ago.

Not dropping Swan.

Having no discernible forward structure.

Being unable to motivate the side on a week to week basis.

There is something seriously wrong at Collingwood - they have looked flat all year.

Surprise, surprise...another thread on Bucks already.

Give credit to Sydney for making us look ordinary, gents.

Please kindly read the first post.

It's not just Sydney. It's Fremantle & Hawthorn & Essendon

Taking a job he can't do.

It would be like if I took the job as a lawyer despite having no idea wtf I'd be doing.

Wouldn't be surprised if Eddie is frantically calling up all available coaches tonight.
Roos.... Matthews... Hell i'll even settle with Brett Ratten.

Witts playing ahead of Paine.
Sidebottom plays his best as a floating half forward so let's play him as a mid now.
Blair should be a permanent small forward.
Every forward entry goes to Cloke with three players hanging off him, yet we have no crumbers?
Didak should play. If he fails or gets injured then who cares? We could not be any worse with him in the team.

Dont' think the combined powers of Matthews, Malthouse and Roos could do much with this rabble tonight. Six days ago we rediscovered our intensity. Tonight we rediscovered the spirit of 1999.

I think he hates Jackson Paine. Quinten Lynch playing as a full time forward has been HORRIBLE, as a cum ruckman he is good SO GET BLOODY PAINE IN,
