I know this week's game is still to be won, can't count chickens etc etc, but i was wondering if cards fall the expected way what will the semi finals line up look like?

Let's say Geelong, Hawthorn, Adelaide and SS/NM win, then we'd have:

WB v SS/NM

St. Kilda v Adelaide

Would i be right to assume given the timing of this weeks games, we would get the Sat Night semi? (From my memory it is usually Fri night and Sat night). How quick will flight prices skyrocket/sell-out once our result is known?

Most interesting is the location. Is it convention to hold at least one available Melb final at the G? If it is, one would think as 3rd place WB would get their home ground, leaving Saints/Crows at the G!

I reckon St. Kilda's home ground advantage would be vastly reduced if they play at the G instead of TD.

It's all hypotheticals at this stage (I'm sure one underdog will get up), but I'd be ecstatic with the above scenario:thumbsu:

Looks alright doesn't it? IF we can keep winning (sounds like last year) we could again have a reasonable run.

Ideally we want Sydney to keep winning as well. If they can beat NM then bulldogs. It would be great to face them in a prelim final.

However its a big ask to keep winning. Saints in Melb looks like our biggest hurdle to a grand final.

One week at a time I guess.

It does look good hey, though I don't think we can play Swans until the very unlikely event we meet in the GF? If Swans and us keep winning it would be prelims of Geel v SS, Haw v Adel.
