What brand was Allan Border's bat? Alwas remember it was the AB and had that distinctive logo, but cant remember what brand that was, despite seeing them around since.

Interestingly I was also thinking of this the other day. I thought it was Dunc and Fernley.

These bats are still made today and still handmade in England. Apparently production was decreased considerably during the mid 90's when overseas manufacturers started importing bats to England and Australia. Duncan Fearnley resisted such temptations. You can buy one at up to 300 pounds off their web site. Not sure if they will send OS.

I played a season with a Duncan Fearnley once, was a cracking bat! The best I've ever played with ... massive sweet spot and really thick edges (which were good for me).
