A disaster for pre-packaged prodcution line pop music, the last bastion of true artistic creativity.

Looking forward to the reunion tour 2015 and the stream of re-packaged greatest hits albums, the b-sides album, the studio outtakes, the appearance by one member on 60 Minutes telling all and sundry how you were ripped off and left destitute by a restrictive contract and the susequent career as a shoe sales person.

I will personally miss the uplifting, earth moving lyrics. The total disdain for those song writing hacks, Lennon & McCartney, you displayed by not even knowing who they are. They and their peers were merely filling in time while waiting for you to arrive on the scene. Bigger than Jesus? Indeed.

Thank you for the music, Bardot. Your legacy will be long lasting.

As John's son Julian said "Saltwater wells in my eyes".. and there is something in that for all of us.

This tragic event reminds me of a great piece of advice I read in Viz comics.

The sooner we stop buying records made by these teeny-bopper groups, the sooner they start having to make pr0n to pay the bills.

Wise words indeed.

Viz. The repository of all knowledge and wisdom, I like that comment. :)

Another interesting thing I read in Viz was, "if it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than a rich man to get into heaven............well that's Cliff Richard ****ed then":D :D

I really cannot say that I am fussed to hear of the passing of Bardot. Just means one less manufactured pop band on the scene.

Ah, but the music industry hates a vacuum (unless it's between the ears of the singers), and so, watch for another band to take their place.

I saw Sophie when she was doing the Marilyn Monroe impersonations at Movie World on the Gold Coast a few years ago before Bardot.

Wonder if they'll offer her a job back but this time doing a Bardot thing instead? :D

hahahaha!
