Finbarr probably drops out when Fog comes back. But will play when we rest Tex.

We need to see if he can fix up his deficiencies at AFL level. Competes very well and marks well.
Is extremely raw but has massive potential if he works on his kicking.

Hilarious, wasn't it? Cripps has gone in for an off-the-ball hit and hurt his own wrist (which I loved),
then ...
got a free kick for it!!!

Next, Peatling will be charged by the MRP for using his body to injure Cripps.

I don't laugh at injury but when the player is being an idiot, he deserves what he gets.

[*]The midfield group inability to adjust and reset during a qtr, they need to wait until a break for the coaches to reset them, however damage is done at that stage
[/LIST]
Maybe they haven’t been given the license to change things up themselves

Good
Rachelle --worth waiting for
Milera -- yes I gave up on but playing to his potential now.
Berry --- hard working and adding some run to his game
Cook --- Always had class now finding the ball and always uses well.
Nank. --- Proved to Nicks should have been there all season .
Leave him in team and will gain confidence and add run we need .
The WIN ---and 2 nd Qtr
Rucks --- both got caught out couple times but challenging well.
BAD
Rain --- Rain --- Rain
Out of form players or not fully fit players
Our man Mr Nicks defensive tactics way way tooo early .
He continues to out smart himself all the time .
Fellow posters not highlighting in bad the amount of turnovers Laird did in this game that is after held up flow before spotting Carlton players regularly .
Won't get started on his lack of defensive pressure .
Last one has to be the selection of a injured player who was in hands of trainers early in game to finally do a hammy .

Based off the comments here I'm really hoping we dont have a Rankine situation with Rash.
I think people here are just a bit jumpy. No way exactly what was said was heard. And if it was that blatantly obvious we would have heard it by now. Rash also just doesn't come across as one of those guys.

They just showed some footage from the commentary box during some important Crows goal moments. Every time, Jack Riewoldt looked so annoyed. **** off Jack.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to get Jack a gig in the media needs to be sacked immediately.

Absolutely terrible to listen to.

Good:

Rachele
Milera
Dawson’s fend off
Berry’s hardness around the contests
Some of McAndrews ruck work was very good.
Cook’s cleanness

Bad:

Max seems to be regressing
Hinge injured again
Laird losing his man around the contest time and time again
Thilthorpe & Woz clearly playing under duress
The fact that umpire Jacob Mollison was probably the best out of the four says plenty about the others.
Boundary umpires had stinkers.
The overrating of Cripps - he does not get it done when it matters.

Ugly:

Last touch rule - it’s not working
Think Nicks is clueless - Walsh/Cripps, 27 touches between them in Q1. And where does Crazy Vossy start them in Q2? Cripps on the bench, Walsh up forward. Game was lost in that time.

Just police it for deliberate possessions and not this BS where it happens to possibly come off someone's boot in a contest and a free kick is awarded. If there is any doubt, throw it in.

Takes away all the bullshit and the rule then actually works well for what it is intended, and that is to keep the game moving.

By pulling in ARC to see who's laces touched the ball last, they are actually slowing the game down. And then don't get me started on the shithouse standard of goal umpiring and their inability to make a decision without looking at a replay....

I'm still giggling at Keays trying to claim that handball receive as a mark.

We did look to "cheat" a few times last night, which is something that good teams always do (ie Freo last week deliberately flouting the 666 rule).

I dont think he was cheating, I think he really thought it was a kick! Had me second guessing and then believing him too until they showed the replay....to be fair, it was a ripping long handball:tearsofjoy:

Jack Riewoldt just being the same flog hes been since the beginning of his career.
absolutely shocking commentator. it sounds like he is morbidly depressed. and he hates us

not many in the media i genuinely dislike - inc the volcano - but this guy is a dud. how he got to host on the couch is a huge mystery

I hope his game keeps the haters off his back for at least another week

I am not sure there are many haters, you know what you get with Berry.

He is never going to be good enough to play in the starting midfield of a genuine contender but he is getting everything he can out of himself. There are reasons why he wasn't a high pick. Expectations should be much higher with Draper

There is middle ground between elite and a dud.

Pretty sure the SANFL only count a kick as last disposal if it was a proper kick (including a deliberate or obvious kick off the ground). It doesn't include unintentional incidental contact. The SANFL interpretation is reasonably easy and where there is any doubt, I usually see them default to a throw-in. Bloody simple and wouldn't waste the time on these reviews.

This does not include the ANB type situation where it was OOF, not last disposal. Whether they want video reviews for those relatively rare incidents is another matter.
