Anyone know where I can get access to a large amount of historical data for past races.

I'd want it to include standard things about the winner such as barrier, trainer, jockey, weight, odds etc basically the more information the better.

Preferably it'd have data about the losing horses as well but this may be harder to come by. I don't mind paying for it as long as it is good quality.

I'm looking at quantifying some ideas and theories I have.

How far back do you want to go Hess?

Racing Victoria' website provide historical results details. When you arrive to their home page, click on calander and then choose which date you want to view. I find this useful as it give margins as well.
