F/D....I have generally not commented because we follow the same team but this is not a joke whats going on in Sydney...The Lebs think this is "another" territorial gangfight..The greater Sydney community has had a gutful of trouble making Lebanese.Theres been about 600 Lebanese youth going around smashing windows tonight,hardly a retaliation.Those Neo-Nazi pr1cks that started the trouble yesterday,they are real f*****g evil bastards who have a hatred of anything not white and at any time could probabl call on 500,000 members around Australia to organise an attack....You better hope those Lebs that king hit the lifeguard haven't started something they can't finish...

It is obvious that these 'gangs'of lebanese/wog/muslims are creating trouble, and it should be for the police to find and take action.Not vigalantes (sp?). However things have gottten to the point of no return, where now they are patroling the streets to take back in a way what our grandparents have fought and died for. To put it simply, dont like/respect Australia and its happy residents then ******** off.

Good post Rizzo. The trouble is imo that Police can no longer do anything about it! A lot of people are saying that these riots are "race" driven but they are failing to see the bigger picture. These gangs, whatever race they are, have been left to run amok because of the soft system we have.

If a cop arrests a group of young trouble makers they turn up at court all dressed up saying I wouldn't do a thing like that and they are back on the streets within a week due to some sympathetic magistrate who wouldn't be seen in the suburbs these people live in.

There is no doubt that certain gangs have terrorised certain Sydney suburbs over the last couple of years. If there is no deterrent to these acts then why would they stop?

The thing that ********es me off most about this situation is that if I were at the beach I would have been set upon, simply because I have a Maltese ancestry. I have no wog friends, I don't embrace a wog culture, I was born here, my mother was born here, I love this country; I am probably more patriotic than most, I love Aussies Rules, don't watch soccer, and have a 100% Australian accent... but yet that is not enough to not be stereotyped and blackballed, including by people who have posted racist views in this thread.

The only people that this treatment should apply to is those who come to our country and refuse to assimilate and refuse to be Australian. Otherwise, everyone who considers themselves to be Australian, whether Australian-Lebanese or whatnot should not be shut out and persecuted just on the basis of their origin.
