She might get past Hantuchova, can't see her beating Ivanovic or Williams tho. Anyway, after tonight Im convinced Sharapova has the title in the bag.

I think she'll beat Hantuchova (really don't rate her) but then get smashed in a semi.
For an 18 year old she already has a pretty good GS record, and is improving with every GS event.

She's a little champ is Radwanska and I’m liking her more after every match. She defeated Sharapova at the US Open last year in front of 20 thousand fans and despite the fact Maria was the second seed. She is absolutely fearless and in this day and sage that’ll get you a long way. She beat Kuznestova in the 3rd round but found herself down 1-6, 0-3 against Petrova. While serving to stay in the match at 5-4, she was down 15-30 and then came the point that sums her up as a player. It was a 20 stroke rally and she was behind the baseline when she smashed a forehand winner straight down the line and all Petrova could do is stand and watch. She managed to take the set, but Petrova took an injury time out after being broken to start the 3rd. There was roughly a 10 minute delay but she kept her focus and steamrolled her in the final set taking it 6-0.

That’s the kind of player she is. She’s fearless, so incredibly strong mentally and will keep going for her shots regardless of the situation. She’s got great groundstrokes and one of the best drop shots you’ll see. Disguises it so well and it just drops dead, giving her opponent no chance. Fantastic young player who should win tomorrow and I sure hope she does. She’s got a very bright future.
