Hasnt had much impact the last few weeks. Maybe should be moved into the midfield for a bit of a run?

Just want him back to where he was last year, thats all. Go Rainesy!

You will see Raines shine again. As soon as we play a game where the ball isnt being pumping into our opposing forward line by midfielders with all the time in the world and with Polak ensconsed at CHB he will get teh license he needs to play the same style as we saw last year.

Will probably begin to show out again if Newman gets match-fit and goes to the midfield. At the moment Newman is being freed-up and Raines is having to be more defensive.

If Newman goes to the centre, and King / White/ Hartigan come into the side you'd expect Raines to move back up the pecking order and be the guy we feed the ball too.

I know there is a call to see him in the midfield - but I'd love to see him in the forward line. Bench Krakouer and put Raines up the pointy end. He can do the defensive stuff that Krakouer does. Maybe he can snare a goal or two as well.

That has been one dissapointment in the season so far. The lack of moves from the coach. I imagine they are nervous about throwing the team around and having the kids confused.

Still an out of form Johnson to the back-pocket. Raines having a run up forward. Tuck to FF for half a quarter. Mix things up a little and see if guys have more strings to their bow.

its called taking risks and you need balls for that

why would terry do those things you mentioned when he could just play men behind the ball possesion based footy so we dont get flogged?

We need a lift from Tuck, Johnson and a ruckman. If we can sort that out, I think it'll put a few ducks in a row for us. Surprising to say Tiv has been our best midfielder!

Yeah, Tivendale has been fantastic the last 2 games. No one says boo when he does perform though.

Seems to have gained some weight, not fat but muscle. Maybe thats slowed him up a little.

If you ask me he will be like Tuck last year. Comes on the scene with no one expecting much then delivers the awesome season. His 2007 season will be just as good if not better but we won't notice as much because we expect him to play well and dominate on the rebound.

He'll still be a champ though:thumbsu: :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

you call getting cut up by stevens and then only having 11 possesions next game as being "fantastic"

not to mention missing a set shot from 20 correct side for a left footer

laughable

I think Raines should have a go at P Bowden role. His penetrating kick would work well in a playmaker/quarter back role. His advantage over B2 is that he would bring a bit more mongrel to the role and compensate for B1's leftside bias.

I think B2 needs to swim or drown doing some harder stuff that exploits his height, not given a role that hides his inadequacies.
