Geez the media like to blow stuff out of the water!
If anyone has the Bombertv on the essendon website,
download/play the latest interview with Sheedy regarding his 600th..
bout 4Mins in,the Rama stuff starts.

Intresting.
Rama or Sheedy hasn't announced his retirement,
and Sheedy pretty much said He hopes to see him play at Essendon again..
but doesn't know when and if he will play.

Bloody media! ahh

Sorry,
I know a few of you may of said this before.

Cheers.

Sheedy unoffically retired him on 5AA last night

Nobody seriously thinks he'll play AFL again - Rama is quoted on another forum of telling somebody "he was finished and there was no way he could play again"

Is under contract, he won't be officially announcing any retirement until the end of the year

It would be the thing to do...

Adam Ramanauskas’ playing future will be decided following the completion of his current course of treatment, Essendon chief executive Peter Jackson said this afternoon.

Jackson was responding to speculation in the media that Ramanauskas’ career was at an end following an interview coach Kevin Sheedy did with Adelaide radio yesterday.

Sheedy suggested that Ramanauskas would not play football again, but they were comments he clarified at a press conference today.

"He hasn’t announced his retirement and I haven’t either," Sheedy said.

"All that I have said about Adam was that I don’t think he will play. But it’s very hard for me to make a judgment on health.

"You just have to say that we just don’t know in the end. At the moment we just don’t know how he will respond to treatment and whether he will be good enough to play again. Everybody in footy hopes he will play again there is no doubt about it."

Sheedy’s comments created much discussion among the football community.

"I heard what Kevin said and it might turn out to be correct – he has had major surgery and significant treatment to follow," Jackson said.

"However any decision on his future will not be made until we see the results of his treatment. I think Kevin was more making the point that Adam has a long road ahead of him and we would all agree with that.

"Right now the only thing that matters is his health and we have said that all along. Whether he plays again isn’t a question anyone can answer with any certainty right now. Everyone associated with this football club would love to see him play again but that is not the priority."

What forum would that be?

lol

anyways...sounds like he is in the same boat as leppa - dont know if they can get back but wanna try to do so.

I know I havent been the greatest of bommer fans but I want to wish him all the best

On a serious note ... whether or not he plays footy or not again is irrelevent . Lets just hope he kicks "Jack the dancer" in the head and worry about the other stuff later .

Fine young bloke Rama and i wish him all the best
