Nor can I. Though it is good to see. I've always had a soft spot for Newcastle. It's something about their consistent underachieving. It reminds me a bit of my AFL team.

If I go by birth year my teams would be (teams I actually support in red):

AFL: West Coast Eagles (West Coast Eagles)
NBA: Chicago Bulls (Miami Heat) but I did like the Bulls as a kid.

Well, they're the sports I actually follow, don't really follow NFL and other sports as much so I don't have a team.

and the Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley Cup in 1997

Olympics: United States - Australia
NHL: Colorado Avalanche - Montreal Canadiens
NBA: Chicago Bulls - No Team
NFL: Green Bay Packers (Who coincidentally defeated) - New England Patriots
MLB: Yankees - Sure, why not
AFL: Norf - Saints
Cricket World Cup: Sri Lanka - Australia

The general consensus during the week was boooooing the pats and cheering the giants.

Where I was today, there was a lot of pats love and limited NYg love.

Place cleared out pretty quickly after the game. But, we had free chicken wings all day. Saved buying a full blown meal. :thumbsu:

****. Not tightarse

Let me set the scene. It is in my 3AB class, phone behind calculator with my Brady jersey on my desk. The tosspot in front of my has his Manning jersey at his feet, we are both hanging for the bell to ring. As soon as we get out of class I get my iPhone out and turn on the radio, only to hear that Bradshaw has fallen over the line. ****. So we go sit on a table with the phone in the middle to listen to the last minute, (which took about 10) and we hear incomplete pass, sack, incomplete... Then after a bit more of that, "Brady winds up, arching pass... IT'S IN THE ENDZONE!!! OH NO IT CAME OFF THE SHOULDER OF GRONK!!!"

I pick up my books and leave.

what year were you born?

I just checked the NFL again, Cowboys won the 1995 season on Jan 28 1996 and Green Bay won the 1996 season in 1997. So I was going off the actual '96 season, not just the championship game.

Olympics: United States - Australia

Um... OK.
But if the year isn't divisible by 4, then you're not going to have a team to follow. And if you weren't born in 1956 or 2000, you won't be able to follow Australia. Theoretically speaking, of course.

Sounds like this will be his last season then. Preparing himself to step into a permanent coaching position at the Bombers next year.
