Haha, I used Chicago all of last year and now they're asking me for like LLC or something here. Little Little Creatures? I'd rather a pint.

Harvard or oxford they want us to use. I took everything in that they said. Just not sure as to how it makes you any smarter. Or docs legit. As everything has to be processed through turnitin anyway

Nor had I, which is why I can't remember the acronym! Something like that. Hopefully there's an online generator for it...

Was it AGLC (Australian Guide to Legal Citation)? Apart from that their isn't any that have a similar acronym.

I went through a referencing lecture two weeks ago. Gotta start using the Harvard method. I actually like the style of referencing.

I thought LLC was used at the end of company names. eg Loxley LLC off the TV show Suits.

Harvard and Oxford are easy, especially if you have Word 2007 or newer with its lovely references - citations and bibliography section.

Referencing just proves you have researched your work and have evidence to back up your information. Basically just to make sure that you haven't just written rubbish or copied from non-reputable sources (e.g. wikipedia, rather than the sources that are referenced in wikipedia).

I have to use the Harvard Referencing Generator at my school.

To me it's a pain in the arse (seeing as you should just be allowed to type the Title of the page and then put the link next to it) e.g. South Australia, Wikipedia: http/linkhere/com.

Still looks alright.

But what about books, magazines, dvd's, cd's, paintings and anything that doesn't have a link?

I was actually going to do that a couple of days ago, but it was far too much effort.
