Galaxy S5 and Nexus 9 for me, I'm definitely an android guy. I found iOS far too limiting and got tired of the idea that Apple was gonna dictate what features I could and couldn't have on my phone, so I jumped on a RAZR HD in 2012. The best thing about android is that Sammsung/HTC etc give you the latest tech, regardless of of its truly ready for the public. ideas like NFC payment etc. I love android for its openness and ability to truly make it my device. Plus I'm far too invested in google services and android apps to ever turn back.

Currently waiting for a stable ASOP or Cyanogenmod build for my S5. I really miss stock android.

Sounds like my HTC One X battery life, if I forget to charge it overnight It will be dead by 10am the following day. My mate got the M8 just recently and he seems pretty happy with it.

Only problem is to get the M8 on a plan I have to change carrier and upgrade my plan, neither of which I want or need to do particularly. I wonder how much it is outright? Time for a quick search...

After my current contract I'm never getting a device on a plan again. It works out cheaper to just buy the device outright and do a BYO deal (over 2 years anyway). You get timely software updates, flexibility of carriers and cheaper deals. Win win IMO

2 and a bit year old HTC One X soon to be upgrading, just haven't decided what yet maybe a Galaxy S5. Looks like a few people here have them, whats the battery life like?

I've got an S5, medium to heavy use still gets me 14 hours of usage and I'm plugging it in at 30%

Yeah previously had a 4S and it really only took a couple of days to get used to it. Much more convenient too, I think.
