Sam McClure must have just graduated from Damien Barrets school for flog sports journalists. Sounds exactly like him in his whiny, entitled, piss ant opinions. A month in and I can't stand him already

Codrol (not the on the shelf shit, the real stuff behind the counter) down it with a Red Bull or similar and smoke weed. 100% fixed. :thumbsu:
Thanks Dr. Hamster, been working a treat! (I've replaced the Red Bull with Nudie extra-pulp Orange Juice though).
Anyone got old clothes or shoes.

I've still got a pair of vans i purchased in 1993 and some Levis 501's if got in '95.
A handful of band/tour shirts from 94/95/96; Prince, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Spiderbait, Jimmy Page & Robert Plant, Ramones.
A couple of Reg Mombassa mambo items- shoes and tees- that somehow escaped the trash can from the late 80's- thankfully.

I always thought sneaker collectors were dickheads... until I realised I'd amassed dozens of pairs over the last ten years. Not sure if that's "old" though.

Awesome to hear! Works well enough that I've more than once got a bunch of work done when I should have been sleeping.

I think all my old band t shirts either disintegrated or got thrown out my womenz. Actually I think there's still a Mad Caddies one around from what seems like a long time ago.

Too bad tour t shirts weren't around in the early '60's. T shirts weren't that easy to get. Saw the Beatles in '64 at Festival Hall. Thelonius Monk (Melbourne town hall), Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee (also town hall). Pete Seeger at the town hall as well. All early 60's.
My forgettory being much more efficient than my memory at the mo.

Wouldn't matter, never had a band shirt that wasn't a piece of shit. They all disintegrate after not very long.

I've got a few that have lasted years, great 'can't be arsed picking something to wear' shirts.

I'm surprised anyone at that gig has any hearing left what with all the screaming.

I have very little left. But I don't attribute it to just one concert. My ears have been assaulted on many occasions, many as a result of loving music too much and enjoying it pumped. Didn't worry about it at the time. Didn't think I'd live this long.

I've been wearing musicans earplugs to all my gigs for the past decade for exactly this reason. The choice was either lose my hearing, or stop going to gigs. I just love music too much, so I invested in the plugs. So worthwhile, still super clear, they just knock the top 10 decibels off.

I take earplugs too now. I forgot once and really didn't like (and somewhat concerned) that a week later my ears were still ringing.

These are the gear I use, although the price seems to have climbed since I got mine made 10 years ago. Still going strong and coming with me to see the Hot 8 Brass Band tonight in Sydney - jazz to jump around to.

Yikes! I'm sure they would be awesome but might just stick with the titanium ones I use on my motorbike...

Nowhere else to put this on our board....

Channel 9 thinks Craig Hutchison is going to save the footy show....

Morons are still going to watch it regardless ignoring a better footy show on a lesser known channel.

But then again it doesn't surprise me, because people are stupid. Big Bang Theory is a high rating show that isn't actually funny, Trump is President of the states, and we got Bob & Pauline are roaming around here. The footy show can be shit for the next decade and people will still watch it

It was more that the fat campaigner was their life saver. Guy is hated more than Eddie in TV broadcasting.

Super jealous about seeing the Monk.
Herbie Hancock is one of the best gigs I've ever seen. He's one of my idols.

I saw these dudes at Fuji Rock festival. After their set they just walked around the festival and played wherever they liked, followed by all their die hards. At one stage (pouring rain) they hit up the merchandise tent and hung out there for about half an hour. It was exceptional :)

Re: earplugs, check these:
Cheap, sound good, you can clean them, and replace parts:

Can get them super cheap from Kogan too.
