Hopefully we get a good, tightly fought World Cup overall but I'm slightly concerned that it'll be an absolute run fest where 340 scores are common and 300 is easily chased down.

Time zone isn't too bad either for the early games, starting 5:30 our time and finishing probably 1:30 am if they go the whole distance. The 8:30 games are a bit more annoying and we have 3 of them.
 
Just a couple random Eagles thoughts. I rewatched the Richmond game and part of the 2nd Port Adelaide game from last year because I thought they along with the Collingwood game (I can't watch for NN reasons), stood out as significant markers in the ultimate success last year.

SO just a couple of observations:

* Lewis Jetta is a much better defender now. He rarely turns it over and when he does, it's because he's taken on a percentage play that would break the game open if successful and not just an errant handball.

* Barrass is complete class and we miss him dearly.

* And Shuey really is Cool Hand Luke. He just goes to work under pressure.

* Nic Nat's return is right on time. Even if he plays 50% game time at 80% of his ability, it's worth it.

It seems as though Tomic and kyrios are in competition on who can be the bigger ****wit. So tired of these blokes being in the news. If they hate the game so much then please leave it, retire whatever.. the pair of them are embarrassments to themselves and our country. Every single time there’s a major tournament on they play up. This wouldn’t happen in team sports they’d get squeezed out of the system.
