Thought this might be a bit of fun, to see who our posters come up with, and what memories you have of our past players. Now, I am not talking about the champions of the club - the Koutoufides, the Kernahans, the Johnstons, the Doulls etc, etc, i'm talking about the lesser known/remembered players, and what you remember about them.

I'll kick it off with Andrew Cavedon. My only real positive memory of this bloke was how well he played against Collingwood in the early '90's in their centenary game. I think I even recall Peter McKenna saying he is the new proto-type ruckman of the AFL.

Stephan Edgar who played a couple of games back in the early 90's. I only remember him because he was from WA and played at east freo and was pretty handy in the WAFL.

I liked Arceri! Reminds me of poor Andrew Phillips around the same time. IIRC he had a career-ending injury but would have been pretty good.

Grouse ... did the talk funny (including spiro in on that) :D

Dominc Fotia - Dont remember much about him, but I think he was a pretty decent tagger back in his time.

Bernie Evans - decent player, I remember what he said when he retired "Getting to hard to loose the beer gut"
I can relate to that !!

Are we talking duds here?

Maylin hardly qualifies here, nor does Adrian Gallagher.
Bortolotto was far from terrible and Sartori played very much a Fisher type role.

The OP said nothing about duds just random lesser known players.

For the record Rod Galt was one of my favourtite players as a young kid and I could never understand why he'd looked great in Ressies but could never step up.

Maylin was another favourite but he was hardly one of the greats of our team in his day.

What about Greg Wells - he's very random as far as we are concerned but not the Demons.

While I appreciate you have lovingly collected a collection of Adrian's, one of them is not authentic.

When TonyLynn15 the poster gets in here, he's going to have your guts for garters!!

Not a great, O.K. but one bloody good player.
I recall his first game for us being a ripper. Much underrated player was Uncle Phil

Do we remember Warren Ralph?
Or Richard Dennis?

Ahh Richard Dennis, I fricken loved Richard Dennis - can't remember why maybe it was the two first name thing but I loved him anyway.

Sure was, him and Rhett Baynes were going to carry our rucks for 10 years,
so they said.

I know we had Harry Madden, but back then he used to wear a bike hat and play out of the pocket.
