Settle down mate geez, sand in your vagina? His results with the bat have made him a batting allrounder. The thread was about Cullen, find something positive to say about anyone other than a South Australian.

Cullen has been struggling to take wickets this season but he's got the tricks, needs a bit of luck or something to go his way and should be back soon. 1 wicket from 48 overs against the WA 2nd's today and yesterday isn't the best start. Bailey has looked better but who knows where they will both end up, Cullen has strong endorsements from the best in the business.

So does Bailey, and Bailey is better. Plus a leggie has more value at Test level than an offie.

Dan may be an occasional Test player if he gets some first-season type form back, other than that his best hope is ODIs.

It's amazing that you are better at recognising talent than the Australian selectors, Shane Warne and Terry Jenner, among others.

He has the talent to suceed at international level but his mental state is poor and fragile and it effects his bowling output. Bowled 48 overs yesterday and took 1/106 with 10 maidens in 2nd XI. Not the greatest figures, fairly tidy I guess tho given the 48overs.

He is a dangerous bowler and a thinker, but when the chips are down he does down too. That is where he is being halted atm in his rise up ranks, Bailey has passed him from behind.

Needs to work harder or will end up bowling out his career for redbacks or some other state team. But he has the talent and Jenner and Warne are no mugs. The amount of ridiculous criticism in here on Dan being a first class hack is just crazy.

They rate Bailey higher and rightly so. Doesn't mean Cullen's a total hack. He wont play consistent cricket for Australia, but he'll fill in occasionally.
