Personally, I like your team which is very similar to mine! Petrie is a fair amount to have on the bench though, better spent elsewhere perhaps? Stanley to score more than Puopolo?

Do I upgrade Foley or take the punt that he will increase in price. Tigers have a bye after collingwood has already had 2, so could then upgrade him to pendlebury. Do I leave him and upgrade a forward? Maybe get dangerfield in for MPP.

Team looks really good mate. Backs and Mids are v strong, though Goddard is your only real proven 115+ scorer every week. I liked the form of Cox in the NAB cup but I really think ever team needs Sandi, just an amazingly important player, particualrly as almost every team you'll be playing each week will have him. Fwds are the weak point in your team. Although Yarran and Duncan may have breakout years its risky having them both because of their previous years form. Maybe take out Shaw for a backline rookie and upgrade one of your fwds to a premium like Riewoldt or Buddy or Chappy who you know will get you a 100 every week. GOOD LUCK!!!

I would have thought that Selwood would now be the first tagged since Ablett has gone, I just don't think his numbers will match up to his previous year.

Also Fisher, you don't like him as a super coach player, or do you think he is going to be played a lot deeper in the saints backline this year.

Selwood doesn't need to worry about getting tagged, should score more than last year.

Fisher is on the decline, I doubt he would still be priced the same come Round 22

Quite nice actually. I've debated quite a bit about Hurley, but could be a potential grower. You seem to have a good balance of young guys in your midfield - the only thing will be ensuring that one of your rookies on the bench in your MIDS will play Round 1 to cover GC Swallow...

Also, my midfield strategy is to wait until Anthony and Cotchin go up in value, trade of both off them and downgrade to Mzungu and upgrade to a premium in about Rd 5-6 (all going to plan).

Thoughts? Criticisms?

Anthony and Cotchin are very expensive if you plan to just trade them off.

Forwards are risky, Sj as F3 is yuck and Yarran as F4 is probably worse

I'm not saying you need to get rid of both SJ and Yarran, what I mean by them being a poor F3 and 4 respectively is that it leaves you with a very shallow forward line. Having Yarran as F5 would be a risk many seem to be taking.

Get stuck in guys, but remember its not a GnR side. advice like drop davis and knights for franklin and a rooky would really be missing the point.

You've gone for far too many mid pricers/players coming back from injury in the hope that they will return well from injury or improve dramatically this year.

It's a very high risk - low reward sort of team.
