Don't know why people bash them. They're not that heavy and it seems people are so locked into one view or style of music that they can't even appreciate the talent in the band

Not a band i've listened to in a while, but Duality is definitely one of Slipknot's better moments and a high point on what was a pretty patchy album IMO.

The one and only reason 'true Metalheads' (and I use that term with tongue firmly in cheek) hate Slipknot is that they sell lots of records. If they had remained 'underground', with exactly the same sound/image, and sold a tenth of the amount of records they have, they'd be the most loved band in Heavy music.

no, first time i heard them i honestly thought they were ****house, if your theory of "they sell records" is the reason metalheads hate them, why the hell does every metalhead like iron maiden?
