I actually thought it was very positive, saying he could be dusty. Just needs the composure we know he has

Given the midfield won the battle I wonder how much was due to Naismith and how much due to change of midfield coach.

It was Naismith and the growth of young players. He was tapping it down those young blokes throats. We've had to play almost behind the ball in centre clearances for two seasons because Sinclair would get smashed in the ruck. Today was a totally different feel.

Even though Sinkers has been a colossus for us for long stretches. He always has been a Ruck/Fwd - reach too short to be a good ruck only. Tough-as though and he can do a job for us forward this year at times I'll wager. In fact I wouldn't mind seeing an angry Sinkers in the next game if Blakey gets a rest.
