What's happened to Edwards?

He looked a likely type last year and has disappeared.

Has the recruitment of Morton pushed him out of your best 22?

Only had half a pre-season, was in the rehab group alot. Only played 1 nab challenger game and therefore I don't think he will play round 1. In hindsight he's probably not in our best 22 anyway, but he'll be a gun when he gets a little more weight on him

What player's are likely to be missing for you guys?

For us, Cotchin is the only certainty, but Polak, McGuane are under a cloud and Schultz is almost a certainty to miss. Talented youngsters who probably won't play for one reason or another include Polo, Edwards and Conners. We might be playing a fairly short team with alot of talls injured.

Walker, Hampson, Fisher and possibly Murphy ..all would be huge outs and give the tigers some hope of a win in round one.

are you conceding already...or just preparing in the event you do lose??

But i must say, players like McGuane, Schultz, Edwards, Conners wouldn't make a difference in a month of Sundays.....Polak and Polo might help the Tigers somewhat..but not enough to win!!

Find it hard to believe that the Roos are right down the bottom year in year out, especially after their 07 season.

I blame the "Shinboner Spirit" BS.

Richmond and Essendon eased a little and Melbourne come in a bit..

a quick $20 wouldn't be bad on our old rivals the Wobbles...

$20 on the pies for the spoon... hmm... I reckon there is better value with the doggies at $8... at least realistically they are a chance, however I think for mine Melbourne are a certainty

I think the Dogs are ok, Hudson will help them no end.

The Wobbles on the other hand have lost Bucks, Clement and Licca, all three may not have played a lot in 2007, but when they returned at the end of the season they straightened up and added experience which we seen them carry into the finals, their experience loss can't be underestimated.

With form, fitness and injury concerns on Josh Fraser, Rocca and Presti and really apart from Cloke they have no forward line...could be a difficult year??

Thats why a $20 could be good value.

My main concern, is that our young players are still coming to terms with Rattens new higher possession/high precision gameplan, and it'll take a while before the mistakes/turnovers reduce to an acceptable level - cost us badly in the first quarter V Hawks. Experienced midfielders like Judd and Stevens will play a vital role in adding some stability to our young lineup. I like our new KP forward setup - likely to be Edwards/Hartlett/Fev. :)
The game plan looked much better with Judd executing it on Friday. :thumbsu:

If Judd and Stevens play I think we will win.

However, if the Bluseum is right the Tiges should be due.;)

According to some threads on the Richmond board they're going to smack us with their awesome backline beating our forwards, and their midfield dominating ours.

The Richmod supporters, players, and Terry... they're on fire!

It's going to be interesting to see how your backline copes with richardson, pettifer, brown and possibly deledio. All 4 capable on good days of destroying teams.

It's going to be interesting to see how your mind copes with a total absence of good days.

The only thing that shits me on this site is that so many threads are created to talk about the one thing, in this case, ROUND 1.

Back to where we were.
